Tencel® is the registered trade name for Lyocell. It has a rayon feel and can be made into different forms. Tencel® is “environmentally friendly” and a good for those with sensitive skin. The fabric is also great for travel because it is lightweight and retains its shape. Many Tencel® pieces are machine washable, dries quickly, and has very low shrinkage.
Tencel® can be used in clothing, towels, bedding, and upholstery. The fabrics drapes well and doesn’t cost much to make.
