– Thanksgiving holidays were once commonly celebrated throughout the year by Europeans and Americans

– Only about Halof the people on the Mayflower were Pilgrims

– The first Thanksgiving celebration lasted three days

– The annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade tradition began in the 1920’s

– Californians are the lasrgest consuemrs of turkey in the United States
